Crecien Bencio

Crecien Bencio is a community developer and facilitator based in Vancouver BC. He is a queer, young, person of colour who was raised in a low-income, Filipino, immigrant household. These experiences inform his work and his creative practice. Currently, he is working full time at a neighbourhood house in East Vancouver, he sits as the co-chair on the Racial and Ethnocultural Equity Committee at the City of Vancouver and is re-starting his first year of college. He looks forward to forwarding equity, anti-oppression and anti-racism in his advisor role at the Vancouver Foundation.
