Chris McGill

Chris comes to Vancouver Foundation with 12 years of research grant administration experience at UBC. His areas of specialization are animal welfare and applied biology. Prior to UBC, Chris spent 20 years in Canadian independent schools, beginning as a teacher in New Brunswick and finishing as Head of St John’s School in Vancouver. Chris holds a master’s degree from SFU, a teaching degree from St Mary’s University and completed his bachelor’s at Trent University. Chris’s volunteer experience includes amongst others, UNICEF Nova Scotia, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Vancouver, and the BC SPCA.
