Olaolu Adeleye
Olaolu is a Nigerian-Canadian whose interests and experiences lie at the intersections of people, policy, pedagogy and parity.
He is a Senior Consultant working in Government and Public Services at Deloitte, and is also an Associate Faculty at Royal Roads University in the School of Communication and Culture and School of Humanitarian Studies.
Olaolu has a range of experiences working in public policy and with global multilateral organizations; with the BC Provincial Government, UNICEF (Lima, Peru), Right To Play (Toronto, ON, Canada), UN International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (Geneva, Switzerland) and Global Affairs Canada (formerly DFAIT) in Washington DC.
He has a passion for social development issues seen through the application of an intercultural lens that is informed by his studies in International Development (Dalhousie University) and Poverty Reduction: Policy & Practice (University of London – School of Oriental & African Studies (SOAS)).
He is especially interested in international development, international relations and humanitarian innovation – specifically topics relating to equity, social development, diaspora studies and international cooperation and diplomacy.
