“Jason McLean brings a wealth of experience in corporate governance, business, and government relations to our Board, along with a commitment and passion for community service,” said MacDougall. “His vision and expertise will be vital to Vancouver Foundation in the years ahead.”

MacDougall also thanked retiring Board members John McLernon and Dr. Vera Frinton, whose leadership and guidance over the last six years in advancing Vancouver Foundation’s mission have been invaluable.

In 2010, he was appointed Chair of the Vancouver Board of Trade, the youngest Chair in its 123-year history. In 2009, McLean was a recipient of a Top 40 Under 40 Award from Business in Vancouver.

Jason McLean is a graduate of the University of British Columbia (LLB, 1999) and was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2000.

McLean’s appointment to Vancouver Foundation’s Board is effective May 1, 2013.
