Vancouver Foundation funds charities and non-profits to make meaningful impacts across British Columbia. Together with our donors, we have granted more than $1.5 billion to charities since we were founded in 1943.
We work on the lands of Indigenous nations throughout colonial British Columbia.
Our office is located on the unceded, ancestral, and traditional territories of the xÊ·məθkÊ·É™yÌ“É™m (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and SelÌ“ÃlÌ“witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples. As uninvited guests on these territories, we do our part to advance the Calls to Action of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and formalized our commitment to this by signing The Philanthropic Community’s Declaration of Action .
